Israel allegedly fired 3 ballistic missiles in strike on Iran

Israeli forces launched three ballistic missiles in yesterday's retaliatory strike on Iran, NBC News reported citing officials with knowledge on the matter.

As per the officials, the missiles were air-launched and targeted an Iranian airbase. Furthermore, the officials noted that no targets in Baghdad were struck, although parts of the projectiles fell on the territory of Iraq.

After the event, Iran's military entered a mode of "high alert," anticipating any possible further attacks.
