Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes on several suburbs in the Syrian capital city of Damascus, Al Mayadeen reported on Monday.
According to the report, the attacks targeted an electronic warfare control center near Al-Bahdaliyah and an Aqraba military airfield in the Damascus countryside, where the Syrian Armed Forces helicopters were located. The report also stated that the Israeli forces attacked a scientific research center in the Barzeh area near Damascus.
These attacks come after Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said earlier today that the IDF targeted sites in Syria suspected of containing chemical weapons and long-range missiles.
