Israel attacks Syria, 5 people killed - media

Syrian state television announced Israel has attacked the country's capital Damascus which lead to the death of five people.

''[...] our air defense resists enemy missiles," the television reported.

In late August, Russia accused Israel's attacks on Syria that had led to the death of many Syrian servicemen, adding that the United States' actions in that country should also be condemned and stopped.
