The Israeli military on Sunday stated that the Patriot air defense system launch near the Lebanon border seems to have been a false alarm, The Times of Israel reported.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), an object was seen heading toward the country's north on Sunday and subsequently, Israeli forces fired at it. However, upon further investigation, it was determined that the object was not a drone.
The IDF reportedly further clarified that they did not conduct any new strikes against Lebanon.
