Israel claims Hezbollah 'dragging Lebanon into war'

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Jonathan Conricus (pictured) claimed on Sunday that Hezbollah is "dragging Lebanon into a war" by attacking Israel.

"Hezbollah... is dragging Lebanon into a war that it will gain nothing from, but stands to lose a lot," Conricus warned. "They're escalating the situation," he added.

Over the past several days, Israel carried out a series of attacks against Hezbollah, stating the actions came in response to the military group's strikes on the country.
