The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on Friday it struck several Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to the group's launches aimed at Israel.
The IDF said it detected two launches toward the Biranit military camp on the border with Lebanon and carried out an airstrike on the rocket launcher. Israel added it also sent fighter jets to attack a Hezbollah "military building" near the launch site and a "military facility" in Mays al-Jabal in southern Lebanon.
Earlier in the day, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said his country will intensify its operations against Hezbollah, turning from "defending to pursuing" the group.
