The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday that it held joint military drills with the police and "other security agencies" in the northern area along the Lebanese border.
The military said such exercises occurred on Monday to "practice scenarios involving defense and the transition from routine to emergency."
"The purpose of the exercise was to enhance the combat readiness and operational capabilities of the troops and headquarters, practice fire control, make operational decisions in the field, treat and evacuate the wounded, and strengthen cooperation among the various bodies," the IDF wrote on Telegram.
