Israel hits Hamas divers after infiltration attempt

The Israel Defense Forces revealed on Tuesday that they "targeted" a group of Hamas divers who tried to "infiltrate Israeli territory by sea in the area of Kibbutz Zikim" north of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military specified that it used fighter aircraft to hit "the military compound from which the terrorists departed in the Gaza Strip."

The IDF confirmed that its forces are "continuing searches in the area."
