The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) sent a warning to inhabitants of southern Beirut on Friday about an imminent strike. The military said several buildings in the Hadath neighborhood of the Lebanese capital are facilities belonging to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

The IDF said people in the targeted buildings are obliged to evacuate and stay at a distance of at least 300 meters pending an airstrike. Israel has renewed strikes in Lebanon in March despite a ceasefire concluded with Hezbollah late last year, accusing Hezbollah of launching rockets into Israel.
