The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Friday that among those killed in Thursday's operation in the West Bank was Shadi Zakharna, an alleged commander of an armed group responsible for directing and carrying out attacks in the northern Samaria area.
The IDF said that other three were killed in the same attack while striking a vehicle in Qabatiya. The car had weapons and explosives that caused a secondary explosion, the IDF said. Furthermore, the Israeli army executed four other gunmen during an exchange of fire who were carrying "three weapons and additional means of warfare."
The IDF refrained from disclosing the name of the organization with which all those killed may have been affiliated.
