The Israeli military (IDF) issued an evacuation order on Monday for residents of the Jabalia area in northern Gaza, stating they would retaliate against Palestinian Islamic Jihad following a rocket launch from the area.
IDF's Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee emphasized that the army has "warned about this area many times" and called for civilians to "move immediately south to known shelters."
Two projectiles were fired from northern Gaza toward Sderot earlier in the day. Subsequently, the IDF released evacuation notices for the regions of Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun.
