The Israeli air force performed a series of attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip as a response to recent rocket fire, the army's press service said on Saturday.
"Some time ago, in response to rocket fire (Israeli), aircraft attacked a number of Hamas terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip," the army's statement read.
According to the report, two rocket fires were recently launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel's territory, with one of them being shot down by air defense systems. There were no records of casualties or sustained damage.
