The Lebanese Health Ministry said on Tuesday that four people were killed in an Israeli strike in the south of Lebanon, according to the AFP. An anonymous Lebanese security source said all four are Hezbollah fighters, the report added.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Rashid Bou Habib said his government is "trying to prevent a Hezbollah response that could start a wider war." Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah warned last week that the militant group will retaliate after Israel killed its senior commander Fuad Shukr.
