Israel weighs attacking Iran within days

Israel is considering a potential military strike against Iran, likely without American backing, in the upcoming days, despite ongoing high-level negotiations between President Donald Trump and Iranian officials regarding a potential nuclear agreement, according to NBC's report on Thursday, which cited five informed sources.

Previously, reporter Jennifer Jacobs disclosed that Israel had informed the United States about its readiness to conduct operations against Iran. US officials expect that Iran might respond to Israeli military actions by targeting specific American facilities in Iraq.

Trump also confirmed the voluntary departure of nonessential embassy staff from the Middle East.
