Israel says Hezbollah money transfer unit head killed in Syria

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed on Monday that the military conducted an airstrike in Syria, killing the chief of Hezbollah's money transfer unit.

The spokesman did not reveal the identity of the eliminated Hezbollah operative, but he underlined that he was responsible for transferring money from Iran to Lebanon-based Hezbollah.

Hagari underlined that this attack was carried out as part of a series of IDF strikes launched recently, targeting Hezbollah's financial infrastructure.
