The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes on approximately 80 targets in the Gaza Strip within a 24-hour period, according to a report from the army press service.
These targets included military complexes, locations where armed supporters of Hamas were situated and other facilities deemed as terrorist infrastructure. Ground units of the IDF also engaged in operations near the Al-Shifa hospital complex to prevent harm to civilians and medical personnel.
The military reported the killing of more than 15 militants in central Gaza and the destruction of armed Palestinian groups in the southern part of the enclave.
