The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that its fighter jets targeted Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon, including a weapons depot in the village of Qabrikha.
Additionally, the Israeli military revealed that its air defense forces shot down a "suspicious aerial target" over Lebanon, stopping it from entering the Israeli territory. Hours before, the IDF downed another suspicious target, likely a drone, that was heading toward Israel over the Red Sea.
Since the war between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging fire on the Israeli-Lebanese border on a daily basis, raising fears that their conflict could escalate into a full-scale war that would put the entire Middle East region at risk.
