Israeli warplanes struck southern Lebanon overnight, targeting Hezbollah positions, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The airstrikes hit the towns of Ain Qana, Aadloun and Hamila, as well as a military observation post near Tayr Harfa, Jibbain and Hayam. A missile launcher in the Majdal Zoun area and additional infrastructure near Rachaya Al Foukhar were also targeted.
Israel stated that the strikes aimed to destroy alleged "terrorist infrastructure" belonging to the Hezbollah armed movement.
