Israel submits counter-offer to mediators in Gaza talks

Israel submitted a counter-proposal to mediators on Friday following consultations led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his office announced on Saturday.

The counter-proposal was fully coordinated with the United States, although the details of it were not revealed as of yet.

At the same time, AFP reported that Hamas agreed to a new truce proposal received from the mediators, marking a step in the ongoing efforts to reinstate a ceasefire in Gaza.
