Israel threatens entire Lebanon over Hezbollah

Israel "will return Lebanon to the Stone Age" if Hezbollah escalates the situation or causes a conflict, Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (pictured) warned on Tuesday.

"We will not hesitate to use all our power, and erode every inch of Hezbollah and Lebanon if we have to," Gallant said during a visit to a region disputed by the two countries, according to The Times of Israel.

Israel does not "want war" but wants to protect its citizens, soldiers and sovereignty, the minister insisted.

Israel hits Jamaa Islamiya-linked operative in Lebanon

Israel says it attacked Hezbollah infrastructure

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that they carried out an attack on Hezbollah infrastructure and rocket launchers near the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. They did not specify the damage dealt or whether there were any casualties.The IDF added that it killed a Hezbollah operative earlier today in the Hula area in southern Lebanon. They identified the militant as the head of engineering for Hezbollah in the Al-Adaysa compound.

Lebanese army says it stopped strike on Israel
