Israeli Air Force chief, Major General Tomer Bar warned on Wednesday that Israel will intensify attacks on Yemen-based Houthis in response to the rebel group's recent strikes on Israeli territory.
"We act powerfully wherever we are required. We have struck the Houthis in Yemen three times. We will continue and increase the pace and intensity of the attacks as much as necessary," Bar said during a military ceremony in Israel.
Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened that Israel will start targeting Houthi leaders, besides the group's infrastructure in Yemen, after the Iran-backed group carried out a missile attack on Tel Aviv.
