Israeli PM to meet Erdogan next week

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will make an official visit to Ankara on July 28 to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the prime minister's office announced on Thursday.

The upcoming visit to Turkey will be the first of its kind in 15 years, as the last Israeli prime minister to visit the country was Ehud Olmert back in 2008. Meanwhile, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to visit Turkey next week as well.
