The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that during offensive operations this week its forces eliminated Yussef Rafik Ahmed Shabat in Beit Hanoun who was allegedly the security officer of the Hamas group for the battalion's internal security in that area.
"His elimination significantly damages the terrorist organization’s investigations department," the IDF stressed.
In addition, the Israeli army continued targeting "observation posts, military structures and additional Hamas structures" in all of the Gaza Strip.
