Israeli army: Houthi missile seems to have 'fragmented' midair

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday in a social media post that according to preliminary data, the missile launched by the Houthis from Yemen earlier today "likely fragmented" midair.

IDF stated that the Arrow and Iron Dome Aerial defense systems attempted to down the missile several times, adding that the "results" of the action are being examined.

Previously, Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed the attack, saying that the hypersonic ballistic missile struck the Jaffa area without being intercepted.
