Trump says US economy running off of fumes of his admin

Former United States President Donald Trump in an interview with right-wing presenter Lou Dobbs praised the American economy but credited its success to the actions of his administration.

"We have an economy that's incredible," Trump said, warning, however, that the nation is "running off of the fumes of what the Trump administration did."

The interview highlighted Trump's continued resistance to the investigation into the Capitol riot, as he questioned the credibility of the January 6 committee's actions and cast doubt on the evidence preservation process. The former head of state further echoed the unsubstantiated claim that the committee deleted all its evidence.
