Israeli fighter jets reportedly strike near Damascus

Israeli fighter jets have attacked a building in southern Damascus, Syria's state-run SANA news agency reported Thursday.

According to military sources, Syrian air defenses shot down some missiles during the attack, resulting in "some material losses."

The news comes hours after the US Air Force struck targets linked to the Iraqi resistance in southeastern Damascus on the same day as the report.
