Israeli jets bombed Hezbollah's operational and military targets overnight in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a statement. The military reported airstrikes on Hezbollah's operational infrastructure in Taybeh, as well as Lebanon's Rab Thalateen.
"Israel Fire Services are currently operating to extinguish numerous fires that were ignited as a result of the attack," it said, adding that IDF Artillery had targeted the sources.
The operation was in response to three hostile drones hitting northern Israel, causing no injuries but igniting fires in the Western Galilee. In total, about 25 launches from Lebanon towards the Galilee areas were identified, according to IDF.
