Israel Defense Forces revealed on Friday that they "conducted raids" on the territory of Gaza. The Israeli military explained that it was focused on discovering evidence that would help locate hostages Hamas had abducted and brought to Gaza.

"In addition, IDF soldiers thwarted terrorist cells and infrastructure located in the area, including a Hamas cell that fired anti-tank missiles toward Israeli territory," while the Israeli Air Force "continued its strikes on Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip, as well as strikes on anti-tank missile launchers immediately after they attacked Israel," the IDF noted.

In a separate statement, the Israeli military said that one of its drones "is currently striking terror targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon."
