Italian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 0.6% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 compared to the same quarter in the previous year, the country's National Institute of Statistics (Istat) revealed on Wednesday. The figure was slightly up from the 0.5% stated in the preliminary report. Compared to the third quarter, the figure went up by 0.1%.
The report further detailed that final consumption expenditure rose by 1.4% annually, while gross fixed capital formation declined by 0.8%. Imports saw a 0.9% increase, whereas exports fell by 2.4%. The carry-over annual GDP growth for 2025 stands at 0.1%.
