Italian newspaper la Repubblica reported last week that Rome had put forward a four-point peace plan that includes a "ceasefire... multilateral negotiations on Ukraine's future international status... bilateral agreement between Russia and Ukraine on territorial issues" and "a new multilateral agreement on peace and security in Europe."
