JD.com on Tuesday published its second quarter data. The company's revenue exceeded the analysts' expectations, marking an increase of 5.4% year-on-year to reach approximately $39.06 billion (¥267.6B).
Income from operations rose more than 12 times compared to the same period last year, standing at $0.6 billion this quarter. Diluted earnings per share were $0.41.
''Annual active customer accounts increased by 9.2% to 580.8 million,'' the company noted.
The company's shares jumped 4.23% following the release of the report.
