Japan's bond yields rise to highest since November

Japan's government bond yields increased on Thursday following the latest United States inflation data report, with the return on the 30-year, 10-year and 5-year yields rising to their highest value since November of 2023.

The return on the 30-year Japan government bond rose by 4.6 basis points to 1.911% at 2:34 am CET, while the 10-year note jumped by 4 basis points to 0.836% a minute later and the return on the 5-year bond increased by 3.6 basis points to 0.464% at 2:39 am CET.
