Japan's industrial production fell by 4.6% in September year-on-year, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said on Tuesday. On a monthly basis, industrial output improved by 0.2%.
Shipments decreased by 2.5% on a yearly basis and 0.4% month-on-month. Inventories fell by 1.1% compared to August, but added 0.4% compared to September 2022, while the inventory ratio was down 1.1% month-on-month, but added 5% on a yearly basis.
