Japan's unemployment rate at 2.5% in October

Japan's unemployment rate was down to 2.5% in October, the country's Statistics Bureau said in a release on Friday. The figure came in lower than expected and was 0.1 percentage points lower than in September.

The job-to-applicant ratio stood at 1.3 in October, according to the report, compared to 1.29 in September.
