Japan's unemployment rate landed at 2.6% in March on a monthly seasonally adjusted basis, according to a report by the nation's Statistics Bureau, released on Tuesday.
The figure went under expert expectations, decreasing by 0.1 percentage points compared to the jobless rate seen in February.
Furthermore, the Japanese ratio of job openings to applicants increased by 0.01 points to 1.22, marking a stable availability of jobs per individual applicant.
