Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced four additional sanctions against Russia on Thursday during his diplomatic visit to London.
During a joint press conference with his British counterpart Boris Johnson, Kishida stated that Tokyo will freeze the assets of 140 Russian individuals and some banks, as well as ban the export of cutting-edge products to the country.
Previously, the European Union discussed a new restrictions package regarding Russian oil on Wednesday, suggesting a complete embargo by the end of the year.
