The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced the successful completion of a second exchange involving captives and prisoners.
Four female captives from Gaza were handed over to Israeli authorities, while 128 Palestinian prisoners out of a planned 200 were transferred to Gaza and the West Bank thus far.
The ICRC stated that its teams conducted interviews to confirm the identities of those released, checked their health and ensured they were fit to travel. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating future releases and providing humanitarian aid to Gaza.
