Fox News announced on Monday it would replace its former television star anchor Tucker Carlson with Jesse Watters, who will be the new host of the network's 8 pm show.
Among other prime-time changes, Laura Ingraham will move her show to the 7 pm hour, while late-night host Greg Gutfeld will move up an hour to 10 pm. Sean Hannity will maintain his perch at 9 pm, and Trace Gallagher's late-night news program will follow Gutfeld at 11 pm.
The changes come after Fox's ratings halved following Carlson's departure in late April. "Fox News Channel has been America's destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years, and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup," Chief Executive Suzanne Scott noted in the statement.
