The Jordanian armed forces announced on Wednesday that they had successfully dropped off around seven tons of aid on eight helicopters to the Gaza Strip via Crossing 147.
"The delivery via Crossing 147 comprised of 720 packages weighing a total of 7,200 kilograms, that included hygiene and sanitation supplies, food, baby formula, and medical equipment, and 30 different types of medications," Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said on X.
The Jordanian military says the aid was being delivered to Al-Qarara, an area near Gaza's southern city of Khan Younis, where it would then be handed over to the World Food Programme for distribution.
