Judge rejects Google's motion to dismiss DoJ lawsuit

A United States federal judge rejected on Friday Google's attempt to dismiss an antitrust lawsuit by the Department of Justice (DoJ) related to its advertising practices.

The DoJ and eight states sued Google in January, seeking to "halt Google's anticompetitive scheme, unwind Google's monopolistic grip on the market, and restore competition to digital advertising" and make it sell Google Ad Manager suite. The tech giant claimed the lawsuit was "without merit" adn vowed to defend itself "vigorously."
