A Delaware judge revealed on Tuesday that Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk's compensation plan valued at $56 billion will be voided.
In an order, it was written that the "judgment is entered in Plaintiff's favor." Previously, the Plaintiff, who is a Tesla investor, said that the company's "directors breached their fiduciary duties by awarding Elon Musk a performance-based equity-compensation plan."
Tesla's shares slid 2.30% in the after-hours trade following the announcement.
