Private equity firm KKR & Co. Inc. and Britain's WPP announced on Tuesday that they will make a growth investment in FGS Global. According to the statement published by WPP, the deal is worth $1.4 billion.
With 1,300 experts, FGS Global is a world-leading financial communications firm and was also recently ranked the world's number one public relations firm by the number and value of its operations by Mergemarketer.
The parties expect the agreement to be finalized before the end of the third quarter of 2023. Commenting on the deal, Philipp Freise, Partner at KKR, said that today they are "establishing a powerful strategic partnership ... as they continue on their path to building an industry-defining global business."
