The Dutch airline KLM has canceled its flights to Ukraine and will not fly over its airspace until further notice, a company spokesperson told EFE on Saturday.
According to the report, the decision is effective immediately, so the second trip scheduled for tonight is also canceled. KLM usually flies twice daily from Amsterdam to Kiev.
Earlier, Dutch Foreign Minister Vopke Hoekstra called on all Dutch citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible, joining a group of governments that have asked their citizens to leave that country in front of the current escalation.
