Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya accused Kiev and Warsaw of attempting to incite a "direct clash" between North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Moscow following the incident that killed two people in the Polish village.
"The absolutely irresponsible statements made by the leadership of these two states cannot be perceived differently," Nebenzya said at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council.
"Over the past months, we regularly see footage of the consequences of Ukrainian air defense hitting residential buildings, behind which they hid these systems in various cities," the diplomat underscored following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's repeated claims which insist on Moscow's responsibility behind the explosion in Poland.
