The head of the Ukrainian president's office, Andrii Yermak, proposed on Thursday that Ukraine's Supreme Council creates a Temporary Special Commission to track and monitor weapons given to the country by foreign allies.

This proposal comes after suspicion of theft of weaponry that might be smuggled out of Ukraine and sold on the black market. Yermak added that the Council should be involved as it is a matter of transparency.

The proposal comes after a member of the United States House of Representatives, Victoria Spartz, asked President Joe Biden to check the alleged connection between Yermak and Russia.
