Adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mykhailo Podolyak, informed on Wednesday that none of the drones allegedly launched by the Russian forces in the early morning hours reached their targets, noting that all thirteen unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were neutralized in the air.

"It's both a sign of defenders' strong work and a result of allies' support lately. Your air defense systems are saving lives, but we still have a lot of work to do," Podolyak wrote on his Twitter page. The Ukrainian electricity operator Ukrenegro confirmed that no energy systems were destroyed during the attack.

Earlier, Kiev authorities reported drone attacks upon the Ukrainian capital city, warning of a possible second wave of the offensive in the coming hours.
