North Korean leader Kim Jong-un voiced strong support for Russia's actions in Ukraine in talks with Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Kim condemned the US and Western countries for enabling Ukraine's use of long-range missiles against Russia, labeling it a "direct military intervention." He also reaffirmed Pyongyang's backing of Russia, stating that his government and military stand by Moscow's efforts to safeguard its sovereignty.
The meeting, described as "friendly and trustworthy" by KCNA, did not specify if the two discussed North Korea's reported troop deployments to Russia to aid in the conflict.
