Britain's King Charles III delivered on Wednesday a speech in which he laid out the Labour Party's legislative agenda.
"All significant tax and spending changes are subject to an independent assessment by the Office for Budget Responsibility," he remarked, adding that auditing, corporate governance and pensions investment will be strengthened. He went on to say that ensuring economic growth will be a "fundamental mission," while the government will "get Britain building" and "strengthen" the country's border.
Furthermore, the King shared that there will be a "new deal for working people," that will ban exploitative practices and boost employment rights. Touching on the subject of energy, he detailed that a new bill will be introduced "to set up Great British Energy," with an aim to speed up renewable energy investments.
