Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that there are still no prerequisites for negotiations with Ukraine, claiming that both Kiev and its Western allies have ruled them out.
Peskov also said Russia is unaware of plans to organize a peace summit in July, as reported by German television network ARD. Denmark has in the past expressed interest in organizing such a summit, with ARD alleging that an informal meeting was held last week in Copenhagen to discuss the details. It is unclear whether Russia would be invited, with the report saying the summit would focus on securing the support of countries that have not yet declared their opposition to the war in Ukraine.
