Kremlin: Trump-Putin meeting set for July 16 in Helsinki

United States President Donald Trump will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland, on July 16, the Kremlin press service confirmed on Thursday. The White House also confirmed the summit.

"In accordance with the agreement reached, the meeting between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the United States of America Donald Tramp will happen on July 16 in Helsinki," the Russian statement said.

The summit will mark the first full-format meeting of the two world leaders besides meeting on the sidelines at G20 and ASEAN.
